Testing Waters- B16A SirII Swap, GSR Trans, Mounts, Harness, ECU- Montana
I'm thinking about returning my civic back to stock before I sell it. I put the b16 in it right before I moved to Montana (because I blew my GSR motor 2 days before I moved) What I have is a JDM B16a sirII. It has about 75--- miles on it. When I bought it, it had 72,000 on it from japan, still with a HAMP oil filter. The swap comes with a GSR Tranny, shifts perfect, no grinds. I have the JDM P30 ECU.
You also get-
B-series Axles
All of the mounts
GSR Wiring Harness
Shift Linkage
and anything else that I have forgotten, that would make this a complete swap.
Right now I'm waiting for my gsr throttle body to arrive in the mail, because I needed a throttle body with a map sensor. So currently the motor is running w/o a map sensor, and since I have had it, it hasn't been broughten above 5k rpms. (no vtec) When I changed the oil I first ran it from washington to montana with conventional, then when I got here I put Mobil 1 5/30 in it.
The reason for selling it is because I plan on selling my 94 si to get a 99-00 hatch. Since I have the time and parts I can bring my civic back to stock and in the end come out with a little bit more money.
I am currently asking 2600 for the complete swap. I figure this is a decent price for a motor that hasn't been rodded on hard that has low miles. I will also deliver 150 miles out of Billings Montana if the asking price is met.
