Default headgasket question

Ok so I have went through 3 OEM head gaskets in like 2 months.
b16 bored to 81.5 mm and around 10.5-11:1 comp.
compression test
223 229 235 230

however the numbers are ok but im still leaking coolant and oil from the backside of the block. So should i get like an 81.5mm HP Gasket Civic 1999-2000 Si from King Motorsports or a Mugen Metal 2 layer gasket or a HKS Bead Type Gasket?

Where exactly is it leaking from the backside of the block? You sure you dont have a leak somewhere else? Do you have any down on performance? How does the car run? Any smoke?

Alot of questions i know, but answer those and we could help you.

well i cant pin-point the leak but what else would leak coolant and oil..... the back passenger side of the block is drenched. The tranny is the wetest though. The car runs strong just put it back together about 100-200 miles ago. No smoke. There is some oil leaking on the front of the motor around the head gasket. I had the head cut but im starting to think that maybe i need to deck the block too....

Yea you might need to pull the block and make sure its straight, you should have done that first before you built it too.

Yeah, you may need to have head checked to make sure there is no warpage.

Heads can warp as well...Usually they are good to go though.

It's shows you the procedure in the actual honda service manual. Same way to check the block, staight accross, then both diagnals.

actually the blocks are usually good to go. the heads are what warp more often.... which is why i had mine cut prior to assembly.

He ment head. If you ran the head on a semi/completely warped block then the head will become warped as well. Need to get them both checked now if you even think the block might have been.
