91 CRX HF my hood wont close a b series...
i just installed a lsvtec in my 91 crx hf and im having trouble shuttin my hood.. it clicks but it doesnt lock all the way.. there's about a inch and a half space between the bumper and hood.. can you guys help me and show me what you did to make your hoods close lol.. very odd questions thanks guys!!
edit: has a eg radiator (half)

The EG radiator is prolly whats keeping the hood from being closed......is it sitting right on the subframe or did u cut it to make it fit?
it's gonna be a tight fit anyways. what mounts are you using? my brothers ls/vtec hits the hood but it still closes all the way. he's using the hasport mounts. maybe the mounts you are using are making the motor sit at an awkward angle.

i got hasport mounts.. the motor sits straight.. and it did close before with a normal radiator.. so ima try making the eg radiator sit alot lower tomorrow.. any more suggestions.. would rasing the back of the hood on an angle help?
yea i took the hood off... it looks to be right.. it clicks into it like its gonna close but then it just doesnt go anymore and there are marks from my eg rad.. so ima fix the sub frame tomorrow..

that might help but also might look funny. we are doing the jdm front end on his car though so we are hoping that will solve his problem. as for me with my b series i just have an ls motor that doesn't hit but is really close. i've decided against the jdm front but am going to get the VIS jdm stlye carbon fiber hood that has the hump rather than the dip and still fits the US front end.
