Coolant disappearing again!!!
As stated, I am losing coolant again but can't find where. I'm on my 3rd radiatorbarn.com all metal rad. All my hoses are new, and I mean all hoses, no smoke when car is running, no coolant in the oil, no visible leaks, pressure test showed no leaks. I lose about an entire reservoir amount of coolant every week, but this has only been happening for the last 2 weeks. It's driving me insane!!!! Oddly, my car never overheats. The one place I didn't check was my water pump. I can't fathom that not properly bleeding the coolant would result in such a huge loss.
Replaced the cap when I replaced the rad. It's a 16 Psi Stant cap. No puddles anywhere but I can smell the coolant sometimes while I'm driving. I swear I am going to develop some sort of complex. Grrrrr.
You have a pin hole leak. I had this same issue on my old teg. There is a little hoes that runs from the upper radiator hose back to the throttle body. Mine had a pin hole leak, and it would only open up when i reved the engine. No puddles, no visable signs of leaks.
I finally had to sit there with the enigne running and look for leaks, i only found it when i reved the engine and saw some smoke/steam. My pin hole was poining right down towards the header, and it would burn off right away.
Park the car open the hood and take a long slow look, rev the engine, look for water, but also look for any smoke or steam. Also when radiator fluid dries it turns kinda white, look all over the engine bay for white drops. It might take a little time but i bet you will find it

OOO this hapend with my friend's four door integra.. it sucked up all the fluid because the fan wasn't working (he disconnected it because it ran 24/7 and sounded shitty) so check ur fans.. or your car might be hotter then usuall.. check that too

I agree. I have a small pinhole leak I found after replacing another hose that was leaking badly. What I did was squeeze all my hoses in different places. The coolant started leaking from the thin hose that connects from the head to the throttle body...clearly visible. What got me was that the hose doesn't look rotten or hard...looks almost brand-new.

i had the same thing goin on aswell. at first i thought it might be a hose because i did find a leak right above the radiator (the main hose clamp was put in the wrong place), i fixed it but was still burning coolant. for me atleast it turned out to be my water pump was dying when my car reached 110k.
this is also happening to my 90' rs. got it checked out and they saw a small leak from the water pump. but no puddles or anything under the car. i'm going to do the water pump and timing chain soon along with some other stuff.

This Is exactly what happened to me as well.. The small coolant lines to the throttle body, have been known to do this, the coolant goes right down onto your hot cat. converter and burns right off before u see it.
Car never overheated, just as u stated

Same here, little 8mm hoses under the intake manifold, sneaky bastards. And when you replace the bypass hose that is U shaped, just buy it from the dealer for $4 so you don't have to worry about it kinking.
