all motor ls/vtec problem

okay some of you may have read my post awhile ago about my car sounding like a wrx.. well i used my cousins spark plug wires off of his 99 si, he took a further look in the engine bay and found 2 ground wires??? that were disconnected from the transmission with 2 wires and a connector plug in looking piece coming from them.. we put the grounds back where they were suppose to be.. and started the car, it doesn't sound like a wrx anymore, but when i rev it up, it dips real low coming back down almost bogging out. and also idles rough, but the main thing i notice is alot of smoke coming from the exhaust.. we did this at night with no light when i shined a flashlight onto the smoke it looked blue, and it wreaks of ******* gas.... also there are no more check engine lights..
any solutions?

i have crome engine management, i'm beginning to think it's the throttle positioning sensor because when i put the new one on steve from TSR said you didn't need to adjust it that it doesnt really matter. :hammer on head:
could that really be the cause of this bullshit? if so

yep....anything above 0% at idle will cause the car to run like ****....if its negative itll cause idle problems...if postive itll idle alright just a tad high....but decel will be hella rich...nicely washing down you cylinder walls....causing pre-mature cylinder wear....
