Default Transmission fluid question

I have a 2000 GSR motor in my hatch. I recently changed the tranny fluid, and topped it off with Honda's MTF to a point where the fluid was starting to leak out of the fill hole.

Yesterday I removed the passenger-side axle (with the half-shaft) because I need to replace it, and no transmission fluid came out after I pulled out the axle. Is this normal, or could this be a sign of a problem?

TIA

Well, did you jack up the side of the car you were working on, because that would cause the oil to go to the opposite side of the tranny instead of leaking out. I have done both axles numerous times and no oil ever leaks out.

Actually, the car is leveled perfectly with all four corners lifted up on jackstands. So sounds like it's perfectly normal that it did not leak? *Sigh of relief*

no man, what I think that guy is saying is that if you do one side at a time then the gravity will pull the oil toward the side of the car that is still sitting on the ground creating no leaks. correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok so I guess my question is should it drip out if the car is perfectly leveled?

So any ideas what I should check for now, other than fluid level in the tranny (although I know for a fact I topped it off 2 weeks ago, and there are definitely no leaks).
