ok so here's the prob, I tried to do a brake job on my friends 88 accord. the caliper mounting bracket and caliper are rusted together at the top pivot bolt. Now I need to get a new caliper and bracket. My question is will only the 88 accord one work or can I swap parts with another car around the same year.

i believe 86 to 89 are the same with the exeption of the LXI .. DX and LX should be interchangable

 

86 to 89 are the same, Except for the 88-89 Lxi and Sei have larger front brakes.
