does it make it a lil faster becuase of the closer gearing or will it slow the car down.

You will accelerate a little faster cause the gears are shorter and more close ratio so you can stay in the secondaries on your upshift, though that is no problem with a gsr tranny other than the 1-2 shift.

Some downsides...theoretical top speed will not be as high, gas mileage is worse.

how about adding a jdm ys1 cable tranny? Will that work ok w/ that motor in 95 LS?

 

how badly is ur gas affected? and cabin noise? cuz my friend has an SI and when i drive it it's kinda loud heeh...she only has AEM on it also...how much do SI trannies run?

 

I've been selling this tranny at first for 350, now i'm thinking of keeping it.
