I know i used to like watching video before my buildup, i got me motivated and always got me excited, so now i am returning the favor. Something to motivate your builds.
It's a roll on from 1st to about 80mph.

Okay it was about 78, but yeah i have a Y1 tranny, 4.266 final, 1.416 3rd. 22.8" diameter tires. And if you look at the speedo that mark is 80.
The y1 makes it seem like my car is slower than it is. I shift at 9000, in second gear i can hit 70. So i'm not pulling your chain.
I know this video isn't the best. Honstly i just like the sound of NA cars, that's the main thing i usually like.

I think he's running some weird 1.7L with 1.6L rods and custom pistons....

I'll let him clear that up though.... car sounds awesome...love the sleeper steering wheel....

i have it on my da and i think the gears are long asa hell. with my 8k redline i can take 3rd to 100mph

Mad EF love! I like that "sleeper steering wheel" as well. What is that Y1 tranny out of? I went from the S1 B16 tranny from the S1 LS tranny and I actually think I like the LS tranny more. 1st-2nd gear is a lot more streetable with street tires, and the 5th is much better. I'm pretty sure the LS tranny is gonna hurt me on the track a little bit though.

Y1 are out of EF SiRs. They have the same final drive as an LS, but the gears are a little bit more close ratio, but the LS 1st is actually more aggresive than the Y1.
Did you run a 13.4 with the LS? thats pretty damn impressive.

No, I had the S1 B16 tranny until It decided to grenade itself, now I have the LS.

 

The LS S1 has a 4.4 final drive gear.
