Air conditioning temp slider is really stiff.
well... the switch on my ITR climate control of the air temp hasn't worked since I bought the car a couple of weeks ago. If you move the slider to hot... it moves t's way back to cold by it's self.
Today I took apart the unit and found that the cable attached to the slider wasn't on quite right... i reatached it and put the unit back in the dash and the cable is really har to move... meaning the slider is now hard to move...
anyone else had this problem and/or fixed it?

My two integras are both hard to move... but not too hard. If someone put in a new stereo they may have messed with it. If it isnt routed properly (in a straight line) to the actuator arm then it will be more difficult. Also, try to lube up all the joints... especially the heater core bypass valve in the engine bay, by the firewall.
i disconnected the cable from everything and pulled it by hand... the cable doesn't want to slide through the tubing.

you could either try lubing it up a little or buying a new one. When I first bought my teg, i could barely slide that sucker across..one night, i actually broke the **** off! A little bit of lube should do it

Once I had to disassemble my climate controls to get in there because the lil wire bent up inside (from jamming on the **** while stuck)... it was a bitch to say the least.
Tri-flo is good stuff... Smells funny, but has masss teflon.
