My Civic Didn't Come w/ a Sway Bar...
I got to looking at my 92 DX hatch a few days ago and noticed that i dont even have a front sway bar. I thought all civic came w/ at least a front sway bar?! Enlighten me O mighty ones...

Nope. I'm not sure if any of the hatches came with sways (aside from the Si).

just buy an integra front sway and the LCA's, simply bolts up.. Thank Honda for have the holes pre-drilled

A lot of civic's didn't come with sway bars.
Suspension Techniques makes sway kits for cars that aren't equipped with factory sway bars.

Sway bars improve the cars balance when turning.
Reduces body roll in turns.
I suggest u get a bigger rear sway bar opposed to the front.
I have EG6 Rear LCA and aftermarket rear sway bar and stock EG front sway.
Turning is so much better, best bang for buck in handling.

I have been thinking of this. Would a Stock 94+ Ls rear sway bar do fine? I have a extra, and I plan on doing a rear disc conversion soon.
My car rides on TEIN Springs and stock Integra Struts, (I have a B16a swap.) The car dives really hard, handles wheel, but body roll is horrible.

I choose not to run a front swaybar on my 1992 CX. I've got it set up very rear biased with 425F/550R rate springs and a 14mm rear bar, bit no front bar.
I'd add a rear bar and keep the front the way it is and see how you like that.

Honda wants the car to understeer. Understeer is a lot easier for Susie homemaker to deal with as opposed to oversteer, so Honda didn't engineer the car to rotate.
In fact a lot of ITR crashes were due to the fact that someone was pushing the car hard and had it rotate on them, and rather than stay in the gas they lifted, sending the car out of control, and thus crashing. The ITR is about the most neutral FF Honda made, and it's that neutrality (as oppsoed to being understeer proned) that helps people wreck once they panick when the rear beings to rotate.

I know im opening another whole can of worms here, but it may help as well.
What is too big for a civic dx, i.e. in terms of the sway bars causing the sub frame to be torn?

See the 1992-1995 Civic EX 4-door had a stock 14mm rear swaybar, so I figure Honda at least made the rear subframe strong enough for that.
A 14mm rear bar in itself may not make much difference at all if you have regular front-biased spring rates. For me I won't go any bigger in the rear without adding a front bar, because my car is already ***-happy due to my rear-biased spring rates.
If I had a regular set-up, like some regular coil-overs or lowering springs on some good struts I'd get the Comptech rear swaybar/tiebar combo (22mm rear bar) and be done. If you insists on another 22mm or even larger rear bar, then I'd plan on getting one of those subframe reinforcement kits from Beaks or whatnot.

http://www.a-spec-racing. I run this with my m00gen 26mm rear bar. ASR sells this kit with a 32mm bar so they're confident in their product.

i have seen other threads of torn sub frames with beaks kits. im guessing there has to be a direct corellation betwen ride height, springs/ coilovers, to the sway bar putting so much force on the sub frame to have it cause a failure.
