del sol b16 is 2nd gen. b16 and the engine code is B16a3 and it's also OBD I... the
'00 si b16 is 3rd gen. b16 and the engine code is b16a2 (I think) and it's OBDII..... Other than that, engine wise there's not much difference.

Did you make a Mistake here?
B16A3 is the Si Motor and A2 is the Delsol Motor... Del SOl is OBD1 and Si is OBD2.... Other than that theyare the same have the same gears in the TRANNY 4.400 FD..Same compression ratio, Same Hp rating and Torque... etc etc etc

The DelSol VTEC was available in two periods 1994-1995 and 1996-1997. During the 1994 and 1995 years, the DelSol VTEC featured a DOHC VTEC B16A3(OBD-I) motor.
The OBD-II changeover called for some sensor and emissions changes thus the B16A2 was born. This was used in the 1996-1997 DelSol VTEC. This motor was also later used in the Civic Si 1999-2000.
