my distributer is going on and i dont have 225 on hand for a new one, will the one off of my old z6 work? both obd1s. also, where would you go to get a different one in my situation, i saw them for like 160 on ebay but i dont know if i can wait that long

 

No, but you could take all the guts and stuff and put it in your dist. Unless if your throwing a CKP, TDC, or CYP. Then you need to swap out the whole thing.

 

im throwing like no.1 cylinder, crank angle, and ign. output signal and my car wont go above 3.5k and it looks like the rotors rubbing on the cap? sign of get new distributer?

 

Yep gotta get a new one. Those sensors are the dist. themselfs. You could use any B series VTEC dist. (B16, B18C, B18C5, whatever else i dont know about). You could put the z6 one on but you have to custom mount it and its not worth the trouble then getting the correct dist.

 

actually i went to autozone today and theres two different b series distributors, one where the 3 bolts that mount it make a triagnle that points down and one that points up, mine was and up (sir-II)

 

One for Non VTEC and one for VTEC.

 

they were both for a 95 dohc vtec delsol
