H22 Manual transmision and F22 transmission are the same??

Default H22 Manual transmision and F22 transmission are the same??

My accord 96 now has f22 engine, Im planing to swap an h22 engine to it
But the h22 engine doesnt have transmission that comes with it, can i use my old f22 stock transmission for the h22 engine? Will there be performance degration?
is the f22 transmission the same with the h22 engine?

it will bolt up but the gear ratio of the f22 will not be good for the h22...obtw do a search..this has been covered sooo many times. since ur a noob dont get off to a bad start. search is your friend

the f22 has longer gears than the h22 which is a closer ratio tranny, if you ever want to turbo that h22 keep ur f22 tranny you could use it then, you could also get an h23 tranny also long gears that are made for turbo too.

you will probably get better gas millage with the f22 trans. I wanna say the h22 trans is at like 4k rpms at 80 mph. That said if I was doing the swap I would still try and find an H22 trans.
