The one about a car...
I went to go check out this honda civic 89 lx and everything looked great. But when the car got warm the temp gauge shot slowly to the top. Then the fan kicked on and it went back down to about the middle. Should i not buy this car?

poss low coolant (air then coolant hitting the sensor?) i have a awd wagon that does that (it has a head gasket issue) and the coolant is always low
could be the temp sensor is outa wack.... check the coolant thenget a thermometer lat the car idle and watch the temp and see what it goes to.....if it starts climbing towards 230 before your fan clicks on i would test the temp sensor....
