Default why boost spikes suck....

D16A6 NO MORE
blow a rod through the front of the block. why is it that most engines have the #3 cylinder blow out.

That does suck atleast you have that other motor....what kind of boost controller and or wastegate are you running that it spiked like that........

internally wastegated. with a custom boost controller...which pretty much got tossed tonight

looking for a new non-ghetto one for the next setup

thats why i love the D16 you can have 2 replacements where you can only have one extra B-series

i spiked from 10psi - 22psi and BAMN...luckily only my charge pipe blew off.

dude...how do you use that engine stand..i have one but i have no clue how to mount that engine on the engine stand...and it came with no directions

that engine stand was a little weird but i only used 3 of the mounting arms.

this motor has (had) 215k on it so it was only a matter of time till it blew.
but it was turbo'd for about 15,000kms of its life

you have to take the tranny off the engine and use the tranny mounting holes with the stand.

can you give us a run-down of your turbo setup? i.e. fuel managment, psi, turbo, ect...

ummm i am running 15 psi daily in my stock sohc with 200km's + on it...been killing it for about 8,000 kms already...nothing wrong, d series ownz me
