Default need help w/2000 civic

Whats up everybody. Im new here, and I need some help. I have a 2000 Civic EX coupe. Its a manual D16Y8 with 80,000 miles. I constantly go to the track. I got my time down to a 15.9, then did more work. I added a Skunk2 pro series intake manifold, ACT street clutch, ACT streetlite flywheel, Skunk2 cam gear, and Unorthodox Rcaing pulleys. When I installed my clutch and flywheel, the air assist valve solenoid was broken. It is controlled by the water pump thermostat. It was causing my car to surge at idle. I plugged the hole and it seemed to run fine, but now I cant run better than a 16.2, all damn day. So needless to say, Im pissed. No one can tell me anything except to take all the parts off and start over. In case it matters, I also have a VAFC2, an MSD ignition and a few more things. Please help

I hate that damn valve, I cant say how many of those Ive broke. Thats not your problem though. Once you leave idle, that valve is pointless and does nothing. Your problem however is in your tuning. Since youve added so many parts, its hard to tell where the problem lies. Your clutch may not be allowing enough slip so that your motor can create the enertia to get it off the line, or your MSD may not be sparking at the right time. Also, your cam gear may be a little retarted *pardon the pun * Unfortunatly, until you go with forced induction, your really throwing you money away. Good luck bro!
