Default AEM needs your 2006 Civic's! - Southern California

AEM (Advanced Engine Management) is looking for 2006 Honda Civic's.
All trims and both Auto and Manual transmissions. We DO NOT need an Si.

This is for cold air and short ram intake development.

We offer the owner a production version of the intake and rental car reimbursement while we have your vehicle. Please be located in the Southern California area, or at least be willing to drop off your vehicle to us in the Los Angeles area. We are located in the city of Hawthorne.

Please email rhorn@aempower.com for more information.

Thanks!

2006 Civic Si kits will be on the shelf by the time the car hits dealers.

Nice. We are interested in seeing how the new 1.8L SOHC engine performs to upgrades.

I was checking ours over the other night and noticed it has MAF built into the upper airbox. Is this going to be a problem or is there a way around it? I miss speed density

The Si has a MAF in the airbox. We put a MAF adapter onto the pipe so it'll bolt right up, we already have product on the way for the Si with the MAF built into it.

They still have a MAP sensor in the intake manifold (at least the Si did).

A dual system like the Accords had.

Speaking of the Si, we all know that Honda put a lot into their stock intake for the V-Tec engagement. Were you able to improve the sound or was that even in question at the time?

Can not disclose the result yet. They will be available at a later time, closer to when the car is officially released.
