Brake upgrades for an LS with 17's?
My 17" Kosei's will get installed on Monday and I'm looking to upgrade the stock brake package. I've been looking at the AEM big brake upgrade at least for the rears and possibly the AEM 4 piston calipers for the front, if I can manage to spring for that set? I've also looked a bit at the Wilwood set but haven't been able to find much info on them.
Anyone have any suggestions for a good way to go, I should have enough clearance in the wheels for most possibilities.

well if you want to buy my aem 4 pot calipers i am trying to sell them. i'm asking $1000 shipped. they have 400 miles on them. i have receipts & the owner of the shop i got them installed at can vouch for me.

i dont wanna answer your question because then you would just think i'm trying to get you to buy the kit.
but let me tell you this, you can stop faster than you would have thought to be impossible.....

Please be aware, per what I read on the ITR forum, that Wilwoods are vulnerable to
dirt and need to be rebuilt every couple years.

The Fastbrake kits look pretty good, but aren't they the same as the one's that wilwood offers as per the link earlier in this thread? and after reading about issues of dust and debris getting in and the need to rebuild the calipers, now I'm wondering if the AEM's might not be worth the extra $$. I definitely need to upgrade the brakes very soon, if only because the stock brakes look like *** behind my shiny new 17's
What should I look into for the rears? If possible I'd like to replace at least the rotors but perhaps the calipers as well. This was previously a NY car so its had its share of salt rusting up the outside of the calipers and the rotor edges.

I'd use the fast brakes rear rotor upgrade kit, keeping stock calipers.
Unless you've got the dough, I'd go w/ 98-02 Accord V-6 calipers.
You should improve the rear brakes at the same time as fronts to keep the F/R balance.
Another problem is that 4-pot calipers may put too much force at the front, thus causing the ABS to think that something is wrong and keep releasing the brakes, thus making you stop worse than stock brakes.
There is a fudge factor in the ABS, but 4-piston calipers may be too much. Bigger ITR-like accord calipers shouldn't be a problem b/c I doubt Honda did any reprograming when they upgraded the ITRs brakes over stock integras.
