Hondata or Uberdata?
Sry if this is a re-post, I couldve sworn I saw somthing like this posted on H-T.com, but I searched and came up with nothing pertainng to what I'm looking for. So anyway, I am going to be doing all motor on my D16Z6 and I'm wondering which is better/easier to use/learn? I dont need to hear "dude just boost, NA on a D is worthless." Ive made up my mind and tthats what I'm going to do, I just need to decide wether or not to get Hondata or Uberdata. If I were to get either, I'd want to be able to do the datalogging myself, so I'd have to get a Hondata that had a blue box, correct? Or a data logging cable for Uberdata? Can someone please help me out and tell me the ups/downs of each? Or point me to somewhwere where I can find all this info? Thanks guys.
This question comes to my mind, are you a serious DIYer or do you want to pay for a setup?
Hondata - great setup, loads of features, but $$$$
Uberdata - good setup, DIYer dream, low $, but IMO it doesn't have the features worked out yet.
Crome - DIY with nice user interface. costs more than Uberdata but has more features.
I played with Uberdata for a long time, got tired of the lack of support so I switched to Crome. There is no way am I going back.
It's easy to use and tuning is a breeze. Plus the support is great.
http://www.pgmfi.org is the main site. Uberdata and Crome live there.
http://uberdata.pgmfi.org/forum Uberdata's site.

crome and uber are about on the same playing field right now. And now I am not talking about crome pro. That is far advanced.
Both would work just fine for an all motor car. BUt I will say that crome has more support right now.
Reading pgmfi.org is best.

And also, is it worth it to look for a used Hondata w/ blue box? I downloaded Crome just to see what its like it seems kindof complicated, Ive never looked at anything like this before is it easy to get the hang of?
