Default AEM SRI Install Trouble

I have installed the aem sri on my 1995 honda prelude vtec but for some reason everytime I feather the throttle to test it, I get a hiccuping from my engine, almost as if it is stalling. What I am trying to figure out is if for some reason I did not disconect or reconnect a hose somewhere that I needed to. On my car there is a hose that was connected to the top of the original air box and ran over to the drivers side. I capped that because I believe that is what the instructions are telling me. They also say to disconnect the intake air bypass control valve hose, I have no idea where that is at and I just want to know how to fix the throttle responce issue. Please help!

I got lost in the same ambiguity of the AEM install sheet. I capped a line I was supposed to put a tiny foam filter on. Made my car idle "stick" when the car was cold and the revs around 2k. When I let off the gas the car would just keep going, like an automatic. The intake would also fart when I turned off the car. I re-read the instructions and put a little foam filter over it and its been perfect ever since. My guess would be that you capped something you shouldn't have.
