That's not a 2006. The 2006 have all painted panels. Looks much nicer and less cheap. I saw photos but they were all staged promo shots. Haven't seen a "real life" pic yet.

It was listed as a 2006...and i think painted panels are an option, i think you can still get them with the NON painted panels as well. Personally i could care less, the car is about as ugly as...well...anything on the road...ever.

Non-STUDIO pic and yeah, that's the 2005. I almost bougt the "Black-Cherry" Scion TC..looks good on the web but when I saw it in person, it was burgundy.

You're right. I guess only the top of the line EX-P's get painted panels while all the other trims get the same painted body/unpainted panels combo. I thought for '06, all Elements would get the painted panels.

Ever seen the Pontiac Aztec............that is by far one of the uglies cars on the road IMHO.

Hows this? This is me with my new 2006 EX-P the day after I picked it up Dec 2005. EX-P is new for 2006. Panels sound like composite, just painted to match for the -P models. 2006 Ex's also have the audio controls in the steering wheel.
