What OBD harness does a 99 Prelude M/T use?
I'm trying to buy a OBDII to OBDI harness, but the guys are asking my what is the OEM OBD on a 99 Prelude, because they are showing two.

basically the pinouts on the obd2a harness are a little different than the pinouts on the obd2b. small differences, but enough to warrant a difference in design for conversion harness makers.
i'm sure boomslang could explain it much better than i could.

Oh ok all I needed to know I figured they were all in the same pins because they have the same ETM ( eletrical troubleshooting manual) from honda 97-01 and are not broken up like other years. Just asking no big deal thanks

Nope, OBD1 ECUs cannot communicate with OBD2 scan tools.
