there was never a 4th gen Type anything. the 5th gen had a Type S motor which rung out 220hp. the 4th gen only had S, Si, Si Vtec models in US and S, SR, SR-V in Canada and JDM is S and Si i believe because they didnt have a SOHC motor in a prelude over there. just the F22 and H22.

basically if you want more stickers, then find the USDM Vtec DOHC sticker that goes under the prelude emblem on the back of the trunk if your lude is Vtec or the 4WS sticker if its a 4ws Si.

seats are all the same as here. rims are too. the 92-93 ludes had the 7-spoke rims and the 94-96 preludes had the sawblades. the 95 SE prelude (basically a luxury Si) had a set of sawblade style 5 spoke.

other differences are the fenders. they have orange sidemarker lights that the USDM preludes didnt have. the headlamps are either black or silver housing plastic one piece headlamps. dont ask for JDM taillights because they are the same. the foglights are different also.

also the JDM preludes had power mirrors like the mercedes do. where the mirrors fold in toward the car.

motor and tranny are different. lsd in tranny, more power in motor (h22a)

and the main difference. RHD vs LHD (right hand drive vs left hand drive)

there is a quick summary of JDM vs USDM

try reading the original responses and you'll get your answer. besides, why put stickers on your car claiming it's something it's not?

you could be like all the other ricers in my town and get a big Vinyl Sticker that says vtec or those gay badges from autozone that say "Vtec Tuning" it pretty much will have the same effect-

IMO that kinda crap makes the gaydar go off-

It's just like in Peter Pan...

If you put a Vtec sticker on your non-Vtec car, and think happy thoughts, an H22 will magically appear under your hood...

works w/ SiR stickers, too...

If that's not simple enough then you shouldn't be operating a motor vehicle.

how about the rest of us that have owned preludes since before they were affordable enough so that any random idiot could buy it and start the ricing out process....

clean preludes used to turn heads because they were rare, now people have to look and decide whether its a ricer or not because of all the idiots murdering preludes....

naked girls float my boat
ugly riced preludes **** me off...

Totally with you on this one. I took the Vtec sticker off the back of my 93, now nobody suspects. Especially considering it's got rust on the rear fenders, and it's my daily driver.

True sleeper.
