POLL Does H&R springs really Suck
I got the SPort Drop 1.75 front 1.5 Rear People are telling me that they really suck and that I will hate them because the H&R suposedly "SAG"
Is this true, DO H&R springs Suck that bad?
How can a big company produce a spring that "sagz"

I read that H&R had good stuff. WTF have I been DUPED?
If you think they suck please tell me why
Thanks
EDIT
Called Les Schwabb They carry both H&R and Eibach, he told me they are almost identical and that its just a brand preference thing and that they have NEVER had a problem with h&R springs being any less or more quality than the eibach springs

I haven't owned them personally. But my bud has H&R sports on his civic. He has had them for about a year and I haven't heard him complain yet. That Dude just might have gotten a bad set or something...
Thank you Kindly For your feedback, You are all Good HT members
I hate it when people bash something just to bash it.
I will be more than happy with my H&R on GR2Shocks
Again I thank you for your feedback

Then again it really depends on the shocks you have. I wouldn't recommend GR2 with H&R Sport. I had AGX and felt that I shouldn't have used something better (like Tokico Illumina or Koni Yellow)
I had my sport/AGX combo and my friend had sport/illumina combo. we both bought brand new, i had 2dr 98 and he had a 2dr 99 and his car felt noticeably better.

I would be riding on stock shocks if it werent for the bolts being seized on the OE shocks,
So Im running stock shocks in the front and GR2 in teh back
Im on a VERY tight budget
When all shocks are blown out, I will decide If Its worth it to buy koni yellows or some tokico Matching set.
Untill then I will beat teh **** out of the stock shocks

I don't understand all these posts.
WILL IT SAG?? H&R are really high quality built.
And in all honsety, there is so little weight on the springs that I don't see how you could honestly notice them sagging. I mean how much could they sag? half an inch at most??
to your decision.

I agree. Besides that it's just gonna be twice the work, having to install the springs/shocks, then have your shocks blow (they won't last all that long), then having to re-install them...
This is like your 5th post about these springs already...make up your mind and just install them already!

i got my h&r's in a few months ago...they are great..whoever said they sag lied nasty. they are super stiff too. IMO these are better than my bros eibachs
there 5000000 times better the eibachs... i would go with H&R or Tein springs
unless you wanna do a full coilover... then Tokico or Omni
just my input though

i hope you don't mean the Tein S-Tech springs. those are so crappy i can't even begin. if you're even thinking about those just get stock springs and cut 'em or something. the spring rates are so crappy
. stock for 240sx is 125lb/in, S-Tech is like 160lb/in. they took a car with way too low stock spring rate and kept it really low. it needs at least 250lb/in; it's 2800lbs. i don't know the spring rates for honda apps but if this is how they design their **** then i don't want to let anyone think about getting them. if you're a panzy and you don't drive hard and just want a pillowy suspension that's low, get it. you'll be bottoming out all the time and the handling will suck.

Ive had H&R suspension parts on the last 9 cars I have owned and I just ordered some H&R coilovers for my EM1. I have always had great success with H&R, my gf loves them, my father who was Arizona's SuperUnlimited state champ in NASA for 7 years thinks they are a great compromise and most of all to me, I swear by them. You can not go wrong with H&R
