G3 underdash wiring connector question....

I've had my wiring apart for a while during the cage install, and got it all together enough to run, but I've got a couple of loose ends - and I'm embarrased that I didn't keep track of what was what. The factory service manual is of some assistance - but not enough.
Can anybody help me identify a connector that comes off the loom behind the underdash fuse block. It is a Green 22 pin female connector that comes out to the right about 10 inches, has a tape band with the letter "A" on it, and has a push in type holder tied about halfway to the end.
And by the way, the AC Evap Coil is worth removing (relative to spending money on items to save as much weight). I've got to try to find a Non-AC transition to replace the coil housing - that will make it easy to use the AC piping connection hole to the engine compartment to run my kill switch cables thru.
Scott, who just wants to know what this $%*#ing connector is and where it goes (went).....

The only green ones I remember were for...
- Reset button for maintenance light (to right of steering column)
- The power door lock module on the drivers side door
Just went out to the garage and did a quick check and didn't notice anything else (although I didn't bother to take the knee bolster off).
Does that help?

I paid extra to have AC added to my ITR, so that within a year I could have it removed to save weight as my car became a dedicated toy - what foresight!
Karl - no that doesn't help. This is a big one, and you probably can't see it without removing the knee bolster.
And, to describe it in better detail - it's got 44 tiny square holes on the mating side, but only 22 holes on the back side - the front looks kinda like this (actually wider and shorter):
OOOOOO--OOOOOO
OOOOOO--OOOOOO
OOOOO------OOOOO
OOOOO------OOOOO
As I thrash to finish the car for next weekends SCCA school, I've got plenty to do, and this plugs lack of obvious function isn't high on my list of tasks, it's just high on my list of perplexing annoyances.
Scott, who will always do it better and smarter the next time.....that's just my learning style.....and of course I really will.....still a pisser though......

Hrm. Don't remember seeing such a thing. Do you know when it's hot (key on, engine on, constant on, etc)? That might help you track down what it is. I'm pretty sure it's *not* for the airbags - as I recall the airbag stuff was all wrapped with yellow plastic.
I've got all kinds of wiring ends rattling around in my car now. Here's how I tested to see if they were relevant:
1. Put key in car and turn...did it start?
2. Do the gauges seem to be working normally?
If you answered yes to both questions above...zip tie the thing out of the way until you've got more time to worry about it.

Does it not go into the back of the fuse box? I think most of the green connectors go to the box.

OK. Just spent the last 45 minutes going through the shop manual including the ITR supplement. There are no 44 cavity connectors in the car! There is one 22 cavity connector however - C407 on the right branch of the main wiring harness page 23-24 in the 1998 manual It's the ABS sub-harness connector.
