hydrocarbon leak = overheating?

Default hydrocarbon leak = overheating?

If i had a hydrocarbon leak, aka: exhuast gas is getting into the coolant.

Wouldnt that cause the car to overheat? Or at least run a little warm?

no yeah im saying- it doesnt overheat so that would elimindate the possibility of a hydrocarbon leak right?
