sleeving a block $$$$ how much?
ok i was thinking of either buying a bare ls block to sleeve or buying one already sleeved. i dont know how much it cost to sleeve locally but some prices for lets say AEBS sleeve were like $1k. that seems alittle steep does anyone know of a place in so cal that sleeves block cheaper than like $400?

yea and you can also pay in the long run... i wouldn't buy a used sleeved block off h-t
$800 and up is what it cost to get a block sleeved from a rep. company...
not expensive if you think of the piece of mind it gives you...
that and Golden Eagle give you the warranty

I'm just gonna throw this out there. I don't know what your power goals are, but we have been seeing A LOT of 550-630whp cars running on stock sleeves. Stock will hold up on a good tune. I'd say 500whp pretty safely
well i was planning on having a turbo ls/vtec so yeah thats what my goal was. i heard about people throwing rods and stuff all the time in those. just want it to stand up and not break down
