damn cop pulled me with my gf car for window washer lights. o yeah if u want to know i didn't want her to get it and didn't even want to install it for her. wat i'm wondering is how much would u think it cost??? and would my insurance rate go up...i drove her car and she don't even have insurance for uninsure motorist, isn't that illegal? thanks and by the way if integras have squiters on the hood i wouldn't do it.

 

Your insurance shouldn't go up. I don't know how much it'll be though.

 

You did not get stopped for a moving violation, so your insurance will not increase. This should be a fix it ticket. If you showed your personal insurance you should be ok also. Luckily she was not the one to get pulled over. In CA she would have been screwed if she has no insurance.

you don't need uninsured motorist coverage to drive.. technically all you need is liability

Just take them off when you have the court date, I've bailed on a few tickets by fixing the problems.

 

yeah, its just a fix it ticket, you take them of and show the judge that they are no longer on the car and he will dismiss it, but i think you should be fined for driving a car with those hideous things on there lol, good luck

Anyway, like the other guys said, your insurance won't go up because it wasn't a moving violation (i.e.: speeding, improper passing, etc). You might just have to pay like a $40 ticket in the worst case.

 

Your insurance goes up for moving violations(ie. speeding, racing, reckless driving, etc.). My wife got a ticket for parking in a handicap space. When the insurance company called me up because the ticket showed up. I told them that it wasn't a moving violation, they research it and told me I was right.

 

Do yourself a favor, yank you stupid ******* LED lights out and smash them with a hammer.
