When are you supposed to change the oil on a manual transmission?

Yes- Honda MTF. There are plenty of others, I just stick with what I know works properly.

Have fun..

You can just use 10w30 or 10w40 any brand will do .do not use syntetic save ur maney and u don't have to use honda fluid either , it is more expensive ,,change tranny fluid every 30,000 miles on a manual tranny

How hard of a job is it to change the transmission fluid on a manual transmission? I see now that for severe driving, you are supposed to change it every 30,000 miles, so it's probably time I do this. It's a '99 that I picked up in Oct. of '98 (six years ago), and it has 75,000 miles with usually normal driving conditions.
