Default GRRR MY ROOF, HOOD, AND TRUNK LID LOOK LIKE THIS!!!

Okay so i've been post poning a paint job until next summer bc the guy who's painting it for me was all booked up this summer. i'm in school through the year so i can't do it then because this is my everyday driver and my only car. summer is the only time i can do it. but anyway, this is what it looks like. i only took pics of the roof. i didn't have the right lighting outside to get the hood and trunk lid.
i'm just wondering what do you all think i should do? go ahead and prep it and prime it? flat black it? satin black it? idk please help me. thanks in advance.

You can buy clearcoat spray paint. Try that first.

Sand it down and prep it and hopefully the new spray will match the colors on the rest of the car. Good luck

Well you shouldn't have been, cause they probably have nice paint jobs now.

And yours looks like ****.

And yea, prep it yourself. It'll save you some money when it comes time to take it to get painted.

it's not like i didn't know the kids. they'd have primered cars for YEARS not just for a little bit. one of my buddies has a crx witha skyline taillight conversion. it looks awesome but he's like the third owner and still hasn't painted it. it's been like that for like 3 years. that's what i'm talking about not just everyday people. i take into consideration that some people might be in the same boat i am. i'm not that shallow.

i guess that's what i'll do then. thanks for the advice.

MAACO. $450, 2 year warranty, takes only a few days. spend <$100 more to get a rental car for a week. $550, done. and it actually looks pretty darn good, too.

BE VARY CAREFUL!

i used to work for a body shop and they would get pissed when kids (not saying you a kid :-D) brought in a car they preped them selfs... if is wasn't done right... they would charge extra to do it over again.

just take you time and do your homework.

I worked in a body shop before too, so i'll vouch for what he said.
The trick with body work is a keen eye and taking your time.

True fact. Honda bodyshop dont know how to paint. They painted my buddy EG hatch and it look werid, diffrent color shade all over the car. Suck. I take my Integra to professional race shop with body shop garages next to it. It suck if someone don't do the job right. Good luck with your.
