Default crx cv axel prblems

Every body has told me an axel job should take about an hour maybe less, unless that is there are complications. well there are complications. Everything was going fine untill we tried to get te axel but off. Ive used a 260 pound impact wrench and broke a 1/2 inch ratchet with a 4 foot cheater bar, also used a breaker bar and it still wont budge. got any ideas?

also make sure you are loosening the nut when the car has its wheels on and is on the ground otherwise the impact gun wont be impacting as hard

spray a whole **** load of PB on it and some WD-40 maybe while your at it... and this is what I had to do, use a torch and throw some heat on that bitch till she turns red. then wait till it cools a little bit so its not red and crank on it. they are always BITCHES

do this it worked for me. Drive around the neighborhood for about 20 or 30 minutes on the brakes doubly hard. go home and use a breaker bar. The nut will pop off real easy from the heat you produced from the brakes. it'll work I promise. I did it twice for both sides of my civic.

My little story

Used a 600lb impact gun, that did not budge it. Used a 6ft extension on a pry bar with a 2 inch ratchet, thats right 2 inches.

The pry bar used to jam the wheel so it would not turn. Keep in mind, this was straight before it was used

The breaker bar and ratchet, these are not your little every day ratchet, the axle nut is in the middle, to give you an idea of how big those really are.

The axle nuts

ok I was talking to somebody and the idea that the lugs might be reverse threaded, are they. Im just wanting to make sure that im not spinning the tires on the ground in the wrong way just tightening them.
