Default stock LS clutch holding power

Does anyone know what hp the stock clutch in a 98 LS will hold?

It depends on how you drive it. My friends had 100,000 ish miles on it and held 8psi of boost for about a month before it started to feel weak.

well i'm running 10 and there's probably 10-15k on the clutch 65k on the car, and in 3rd when i hit 5 or 5.5k the clutch just lets go.

Then get a new clutch, simple as that.

haha, i'm putting down 220/204 and am still on the stock clutch. Been putting down that power for 8 months now (about 8,000 miles) been to the track three times with launches ranging from 5 grand drops to 5 grand slipping it ouit. The clutch is holding up great. I think it has something to do with the fact that i have a replacement ready should it go out. My car knows it can screw me over by having the clutch go out.

Yeah, I replaced my clutch a while ago because i thought it was going bad but took it out to find it was in fine condition. So now i think i'll order up a stage 2 clutch.
