F20C in CRX FWD/RWD Question
If I do decide to go with an F20C Engine and transmission what would i need to do to make the CRX run as a FWD, if this is possible? OR If i were to go with the F20C engine and the JDM K20A Transmission would it run as a FWD car, and if not how could I make it? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

What would you need to do to convert your CRX to run as a FWD car? Man, the infamous FWD to FWD conversion is mostly custom work, I doubt you have the money for it.

lol, are you serious?

the f20c motor and drivetrain would most likely be fabbed into a crx in a rwd configuration. this is because in a rwd car the only thing connecting the transmission and the two axles is a driveshaft. IF you tried to make it fwd what would you do? there would only be a driveshaft so it would probally never work in a fwd application. now IF the k series tranny bolts up to the f20c it is very possible the motor and k-drivetrain could be fabbed in a crx in a fwd application. you would have the driveshaft, differential, axles all in one package. WAY easier to fab..

i found the info on a different forum
"yes im sorry this is what i meant i was looking into doing this swap previously and the k20 tranny will bolt up to it and it does make the car front wheel drive, u do also need the intire suspension as well to make it possible" (talking about bolting to an F20C)
"the K series tranny bolts right up to the F20C, so you can make it FWD."
as far as i'm understanding i can bolt a k20 tranny to an f20c engine and it will run as a fwd...if ne1 has info on bolting the k20tranny to an f20c engine it'd b appreciated

Go easy on the guy, he's only 17.
I'm guessing you want to stuff the "best" motor available into a CRX. Why not go with something that has been done about 20 dozen times or so and it's had all the guess work removed?
From your question I am also guessing that you didn't grow up in a garage or fab shop. Not ******* you just a gentle suggestion to take the road that is well traveled until you can use a mig, lathe and metal break.
