ok, i have a d16y8, wiht a p28 ecu and the rywire wiring, and its throwing a code 19 - vtec spool? i tried another vtec soleniod (used) and its still throwing the same code, is there anything else i shoudl try before gettina new soleniod? i just wana get ride of the code and get my vtec working. thanks alot

 

Yeah check the wiring, it sounds like you have a wiring problem. You already tried two vtec solenoids, and vtec solenoids usually don't go bad.
