i have a 2000 civic ex, i just put a set of rear disks on from a EG6.

the brake line fittings are not matching up. im assuming i just need the rear rubber lines from a EG now.

is that correct. if so i will just get some stainless

Are you using the brake lines that came with the rear disks?

 

no, im using the originals from the ex drums.

since i dont have the ones that came with the disks. i can just buy any EG rear lines and i should be fine correct ?

EG raer lines for disc brakes will fit. The fitting ends on the drum lines are different, that's why they won't mach up.

I have a pair of rubber Raybestos rear brake hoses for a 1999-2000 CIVIC 2DR SI (no ABS). They are Raybestos P/N BH380062 and BH380064. They are both unused, in the box (leftovers from a brake conv). I'll post some pics and look up the compatibility of the EG/EK rear brake lines. I'm thinking you might have trouble if you get an EG set of rear hoses, as they may attach to the brakes lines in a different manner... despite the fact that they have the same caliper attachment. More to come..
