Spring rate refers to the amount of force (measured as lbs.) it would take to compress (squeeze) the spring 1 inch.

Default Re: spring rate (IM ALL SHO)

I am currently getting ready to drop in my JDM H22 with LSD, Spoon ECU, and RSR Header and recently purchased some coilovers. I am using Skunk2 coilovers and I have spring rates of 700 in front and back. Lemme tell ya, its pretty stiff. Ok, ok its stiff as **** but it gets the job done and it'll be really good when my motor is in. I recommend a spring rate of 500 for road coursing and daily driving.
