I got TUNED y0! - 200whp I/H/E h22a @ RLZ
Yes i know we have a dynos thread, and I will put this in there also, but i thought you guys would like this....
the setup:
jdm h22a
replica j's intake
rmf "mild build" narrow header
apexi gt spec exhaust
fidanza 8lb flywheel
tuned by howard @ RLZ on a p72/s200
on their dynapack.....so you know the deal, it reads low compared to dynojet, do whatever math you want, many say its more than 10% off, but ill just leave it at 10 for the haters...
for comparison's sake, some guy came down there with a 75 shot and a GE IM h22a and i put down more power than he did....
vid: yes i know the sound sucks....right click save as
http://www.we-todd-did-racing....5NTQx
183whp and 140 wtq + 10% =
at the very least
201 whp and 154 wtq (dynojet)

a huge
to the guys at RLZ.....they do awesome stuff down there...
EDIT:

Yeh, my engine put down 247 bhp at 8200 on DFE's engine dyno last year and last week it did 216 whp with an open header (of similar design) at 8200rpm on a dynojet. So that's right at 12.5% loss, which makes sense.
that puts me at 205.9whp and 156.xx wtq.....
for the hatin bioches....

Oh yea, just saw that. that's why I was curious, because it sounds like an auto shifting. oh well...

DcWaste:
waste money, gas, and time to dyno and show you...
sounds like fun...
93accord:
ask anyone about this dyno, its the one that jdogg used to use, eurospeed performance used to own it, the original h22 header test was done on it....they know its wayy low from dynojet #s.....howard told me they had a supercharged rsx that put down 225whp on a dynojet put down 180s on theirs....
no its not automatic......sounds like auto bc the dyno is holding the rpms.....
the tq looks like that bc the scale is really small, look to the left....
feels awesome, just roasted a 20psi jetta this morning....

Dcwaste ? oh please waste gas nice reply. go do some more math to figure out how much gas you would have used on a dyno jet instead of a dynapack. go run a time and get a 200whp dyno sheet and come back and talk to me and the rest of the prelude forum.

waste gas as in drive 3 hours to the nearest dynojet.....its not like this is any surprise to anyone, smsp and rmf headers on i/h/e h22s put down 200whp all day long with a good tune....

i agree. you can't claim a number you didn't make no matter what you expect. i've actually heard the difference is around 6 to 8 percent off from a dynojet, not 10. i'm definately not saying you won't make 200whp on a dynojet, it just needs to be done before claims are made.

so you are saying that a supercharged rsx that put down 225whp on a dynojet put down 180s on theirs?
is it a base rsx or rsx-s?
my 01 supercharged lude put down 196.7 hp and 175.3 tq on a dynapack. stock motor, header, and cat.
