hey you guys i've just recently drop a b20vtec into my 96 hatch and everything runs fine except that when i go to step on the gas pedel, i get no throttle...i've tried adjust the throttle cable to see if that what the problem but nothing?!?!? the only kinda of rpm accellateration i can get is if i mess w/ the distributor to advance or retard the timing? oh and i also tried unpluging the map sensor n tps on the throttle body while the car runs...but nothin happens? could it be that i have a bad tps or map sensor, because on the throttle body the tps broke, so i just bought a new one off someone and installed it....would that have anything to do w/ it?

Did you try to accelerate the car from the throttle body?

Its either a timing issue or the map and tps

 

its not timing....i think its my tps...since its not set right. and its not sending signal to the ecu
