Default civic eg b18c1 intake

does anyone know what intake system that will bolt on into a eg with a b18c1 stock intake manifold besides the hybrid intake by aem? has anyone ever tried to put a v2?

the v2 for the eg fits fine. my brother has it in his 93 hatch with gsr swap. its like maybe a half inch short at the top but the connecting hose from the intake to the tb is long enough that it doesnt make it a problem. and personally the v2 is worth it. its the only mod he has done to the engine and he beats up on stock itrs and rsx s's all day.

what kind of intake do you want...CAI or short ram?

if you go with a short ram.....you can probably get any of them to fit.

CAI....im not 100% sure. If the emissions laws are strict by you (which they probably arent), you are going to want to go with a CAI that's made for the motor.

If the emissions laws are not that strict...i would just go with the aem hybrid (not c.a.r.b legal).

i want to get the CAI. the emission laws are not strict over here. i was thinking bout getting a cai for the specific motor but wasn't sure bout fitment because i think the integra has a little more room between the header to the radiator for the cai to go down and under the frame into the back of the front bumper. i want to get the v2 but wanted to make shure that it will fit. thats why if anyone has done it or has pixs would greatly help.

We always used an intake intended for a GSR with swapped EH's, never had any problems. It was snug, but fit fine.

We would sell AEM or Injen CAI's for 94up GSR's, to customers that had 94up GSR swaps in their 92-95 Civics.

Never. This was years ago. None of us have used OEM GSR manifolds for a long time.
