Lastnite I was in attendance at Capital raceway in Crofton Maryland for the usual friday test and tune. The were two prelude's 5th gen rumored to make 608 whp turbo. The 4th gen prelude was nonturbo on Bfg g-force T/A. They lined up against each other. I knew I was in for a treat the pass before the 4th gen went 14.5 @ 51mph letting off before the 1/8.

So anyways they were lined up the turbo 5th redlights and get out 2 cars the 4thgen catches him buy the 60ft then bangs second and pulls 8 cars I am not exaggerating it was awsome then runs out full to about the 1/8 mile then coast's down and locks up the brake running <U>13.1 @ 85 </U>while the turbo prelude spun the whole 1/8 mile atleast and made a full pass on street tires going <U>13.7 @ 117.</U> They were going to make another pass against each other with the turbo prelude on slicks when the 5th gen went to take off he broke .

For some awsome H series that weren't in hatchback's kicking *** and taking names. I know alot of people wont care or will call B.S. I just think it was awsome

What did that turbo Prelude look like?

 

The nonturbo 4th gen belongs to MD23VTEC. MD23VTEC car runs pretty damn good for a FULL intreior daily driven street car......

The turbo 5th gen belongs to Jay it is lite blue in color it is also a full interior daily driven street car that makes alot of power but has problems putting the power to the ground.

I was at the track racing my other car and it did happen.

Eh its ok. I got lucky when I race against your Z06 .

It was good fun I usually dont go to the track with the street car but I was bored. I just wish the other prelude would have stayed together on that second pass it would have been fun I might have made a semi full pass instead of 13.1 and 13.2 on the brake with 85 and 81 mph I got faster in the 1/8 then that lol Opps I mean thats all she got slow pos lude on drag.

I'll defiantly put up real times when the turbo lude is done.

 

I think i saw that guy was he TALL by any chance.

 

Yea thats md23's tall slinky *** its jive ight better than jays **** but guess what he is the rereretired street racers **** happens..

yeap 13.1 @ 85 mph! For some reason the brakes come on before the 1/4 is up it's weird I Have more mph is the 1/8 then the 1/4 bwahahahaaaa.

Setup is pretty much junk I had laying around H22A4 with type-s pistons thats it as far as the motor goes. Basic bolt-ons I/H(hytech kicks ***)/E a shitty *** V-afc stock p72 because the P13 took a ****. 225/50/15 Bfg's g-force T/A's. And some laffing gas . I figured everybody would be more interested in the 5th gen that made 608 whp turbo/N20

 

Does anyone else besides md23vtec have a quick prelude? I'm yet to see any fast ones besides his, including the turbo ones.

And once you do hit a 13.1, then try doing it again while being on the brakes after the 1/8th

Oaks racing has the fastest prelude bar none 10.992 @135 and its turbo. Hopefully I can play nextyear and turn some heads with my turslo plelude

mgags7 I went 13.1 @ 85 mph on the brakes because i street race that car So I can not put up real times Or I wouldnt make any money sorry. But I will say I have more mph in the 1/8 then 85. In my eyes my car is respectable not fast because I have the slowest car of all the guys I hang out with. Goodluck with your low 13second pass

 

yeah its my daily though so im not sure how much weight loss im willing to take....but ill def. pull the ps belt for the track....

edit: and i will predict someone giving you **** for street racing in 3...2....1....

**** my is daily also lol I have fullinterior ps and a/c, **** those hot summer days. I'm still debating if I am going to strip the track lude down or leave it full interrior nextyear I want 10's nothing else will due. I'll have some good help with this car and an awsome tuner so it should be fun

Yea not to badd I guess. I went 12's 3years ago but everybody said b.s. untill reputable names backed me. So take it as you will I guess. whats your setup I can give you a round about estimate on what I think your car should run. Or you can IM me also
