Im swapping a y8 into my 91 crx and when I went to put the CRX tranny on the Y8 I could not get it to go all the way on. I used the CRX flywheel clutch and pressure plate. I tried having someone turn the motor over to see if maybe the splines weren't lining up but no good. Tried forever to get it on. anyone know what to try and to get it on.

 

would it be possable to use the Y8 flywheel, clutch, and presure pate with the HF tranny

 

did u align the clutch with the alignment tool? that could be the prob. another thing is make sure u got the right clutch for the tranny

 

yea I aligned the clutch with a socket it was dead center before I tightened the pressure plate down. I took the flywheel clutch and pressure plate off the d15b2 that was in the car.
