Yep, my birthday is coming up and with all the work (money) I have put into my little CRX things are finally happening the way I would like them to. Its getting colder so I can drive my no-ac car, everything works and I love my b16! Anyway, I got a b16a in an 88crx dx. I want to buy something to make the car faster, I already have intake so I was thinking headers, exhaust, cams. If you had 500 to spend, what would you get if you were me?

best bang for thread Headers were the most voted for, well essentially, is the first 3 mods for some HP gains I/H/E. But people gotten gainds from putting a header on their B16, so its up to you to choose which one you like more....GL my B-day is coming up too

 

get the exhaust for about 200.. then save up your money and get headers ( headers are not good with stock exhaust) or save your money for a turbo, nitrous is really a waste of money unless you have your engine built

lol, actually I'd go for the cams. If not that, save it for a turbo. I don't think I'm ever going to waste cash on bolt-ons (haven't so far) or an expensive swap, just base turbo kits and work up from there. Even a $1200 custom/junkyard kit @5psi will have more gains than bolt-ons of the same price.
