Another Rare Mugen Item Find - worth it?
It is an "Ultra Rare Mugen JDM FG-360 Steering Wheel" like the advertiser named. It was recently found on my local craigslist, priced 675 on the ad. The seller would let it go for 600 when I email him. I done some search online, there was one sold at 800, and the guy was happy about it. But my question is: is that really worth it? A steering wheel costs 600 while there are others sitting for around 100.
Some other enthusiast's advices are wanted. Or anyone actually owned one? I know many others would have different perspective on its value, but what you want is what it should worth. I'm sorry for the length of this just for one single item, and I know there is some wording problem here or there.
Personally, I would of course loved to have this mugen wheel since I admit that myself is an enthusiast for it. On the other hand, there is a mugen wheel called "Racing II" on King Motosports for 300. Obvious, there is some difference. It is a self conflicting headache like most other problems. Also, buying an aftermarket wheel, I will also need to get a Wheel Hub Adapter is that correct? How about those immediate pop out ones?
Hope some kindly discuss info here.

I would say absolutely not worth it. There is like a mugen flu going around or something, I don't get it. I bet Japan is laughing hysterically at us. But all joking aside, its your money, nobody can tell you how to spend it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The exception being if you were spending $600 for a steering wheel to go in a show car, where the "rare" wheel would have an influence on the judges and make you more likely to win cash or parts prizes, not some trophy ****. Then I could maybe see buying 1 or 2 Mugen products, otherwise, I'm 100% with MaxVtec7500.

Now i'm kind of curious as to what a $600 steering wheel would look like lol. I couldn't see myself dropping that kind of money on a daily driver/no where near and will never be a show car. But as it's been said, its your money.
i was lucky enough to pick one up 5 years ago for 320 bux brandnew. why bother asking what we think? if you want it... then buy it. it's your money.

I have a pic saved on my comp, but not sure how to post it. I can say it is so nice.
So afterall, doesn't aftermarket parts give you improvement of performance? This wheel doesn't give you any better in handling? But just look and the anxiety of how rare it is?
PS: I really did see somebody posted online that he bought one for 800 and he said that's price. What about the current mugen wheel now, it is just 300.

that is your lude, @ries? You know, it always had been my interior plan for the whole time. At first, I thought what mugen shifter is that, now I found it is a shift *** found on kingsmotor sport, also liked the mugen pedal so much (very distinguish from others). I would really like to know how/what you think all these mugen items? You think it is the best amount most others? One last question if you don't mind, what head unit is that? It just like so nice to have a screen over there. The best look ever! I'm checking Pioneer and Alpine's ones now.
Hope some answers from ya, thx!

ok, again, the price tag coincides with the rarity of the item as well as the demand for it. the fact that it's been discontinued for almost 5 years i think attributes to that. the price tag that comes along with it separates the fanatic from the enthusiast like i always say. the mugen racing II is okay, but it's suede and will wear poorly should you not wear gloves whenever you drive. yes, you'll need a wheel hub adapter, you'll lose your cruise control unless you reroute the spindle elsewhere as well as your SRS.
as far as the pop off one, that's a spacer that goes in between the wheel and the hub that allows you do disconnect the wheel from the hub
