Default Re: dohc zc (RaceFacer)

yes the zc motor will drop right in using the stock hf engine harness. the only thing you have to do is cut the two wires form the distrbutor that you have to connect to the number 1 cylinder postion sensor on the exhaust cam shaft. you dont have to worry about the EGR wiring just leave that alone, it doesnt need to plug in anything. if you get a zc make sure you get the right one. get the one with the black valve cover and not the one with a brown valve cover. if your gonna use the zc tranny, you have to get some 88-89 usdm integra model axels. but if your just buying the engine i perfer you using a 89-91 si tranny with si axels. and change your timing belt(88 prelude 2.0si),water pump(88-91 CRX), spark plug wires(89 integra), spark plugs(88-91CRX/89 integra), thermostat ( you can use 88-91CRX for your thermostat for your zc motor i think), flush the motor with raidator fluid and the motor oil. oil filter (89 integra), cap and rotor (88-91 CRX or 89 integra).
