Tein SS. What's the specs?
Had a friend asking me about the Tein SS coilovers. What's the specs on these (springrate, adjustibility, etc). Also, where do they fall in the Tein lineup?
I know, don't lecture me about Tein
But, they are a tad cheaper than the other stuff.

Ok, so they are tein bottom line. How does the tein shock compare to something like a Tokico Illumina shock?
Basically he is up in the air about a tokico/GC setup or a Tein setup. He's not too concerned about rust because the car will probably only see nice weather. Might be autoxing it, but that's about all.

200% better than Tokico .... rust is not an issue if you antiseize the thread only where it is being used and then spray the whole shock body w/ wd40. Every 2-3 months do a quick spray. I've had my HA's for a whole year in New Jersey (rain/some snow) and there are absolutly NO signs of rust.
Why not go for the HA's? only $90 more?

Get the Tien!
I had the HA's on my Civic Si and they worked great, still do. I already got the Tien SS for my Civic hatchback. From what I understand the damper is the same for the HA's and SS's. With the HA's the damper can almost overpower the springs, so I assume the same is for the SS's. Should be a great set-up for the $.
Only drawback is they are steel-bodied. Now that Tien is stateside, they are re-buildable, another added plus.

Dang, now you guys are making me want a set. Perhaps I should sell my Tokico/GC combo.
Also, does the 92-95 Civic/94-01 Integra Teins force you to use the ITR rear LCAs, or does tein make them for the USDM rear LCAs?
