Default Fuel Rail Gauge install question

I'm installing a fuel gauge @ the fuel rail. However I was wondering do I need to put teflon tape on the threads of the gauge? or some kind of thread locker?

noooo don't use thread locker. Teflon goop if you have it....you can use teflon tape also but whichever you use leave the first few threads bare.
