Default Other Down Sides to Having a Lowered Car?????

Besides having camber problems and buying tires every so often. What are some more problems people can have when they drop there car a considerable amount?
I just lowered my car on ground controls and it is pretty low. I am just wondering what to look out for. Has anyone heard of the CV joints going out??let me know

A short while ago I had to transfer a total of 6 people into my 2 door Teg for roughly 90 miles. I probably woulda scraped the whole way if my car was lowered..

Long list:
1. Camber problems (tire wear).
2. Struts not designed to operate in "lowered mode" could be damaged.
3. Dented heaader, oil pan, cat...
4. Having to worry about every imperfection in the road.
5. Mangled chin spoiler.
6. Speed Bumps, Steep driveways.
7. Crushed/scraped exhaust tips.
Should I continue?

Tire wear isn't as bad as everybody makes it out to be.

I've got -2 degrees up front, with the toe zeroed out, it's not *that* bad.

I have already experienced the door on the curb. I am pretty sure I'll have to buy a camber kit just so the tire wear doesn't happen as fast. What about CV joints, Are they affected by the lowered stance of your car??

We had my fiance's 90 RS lowered, and the CV joints/ boots were still fine after 100K miles...

Are these problems still experienced with a 1" to 1.5" drop? I'm eventually probably going to get the Eibach Pro-Kits and Koni Yellows and I think that drop is about 1.3".. I don't think I'll have any serious problems.

when lowered, your cars become a plow machnie that would pick up unwanted stuff! grocery bags/trash/blown tire/ + alot of crap peeps throw on the street. It really becomes a plow machine when u have a kit!
it's all wroth it though. Look on the bright side, you can pick up chicks hehe

Eibach Prokit and Koni Yellows

I don't scrape on anything as long as I'm Careful

Need to go over speedbumps a little slower and up driveways at an angle...

Have yet to dent my header or exhaust... Yet....

Yes, there is more stress on the cv joints as well as your lower ball joints. If you need to replace your lower ball joints, do it first. If your lower ball joints go... you'll lose control of your car.
