Default TYPE R ? DO I NEED A TRANSPLANT??

It all started when i missed a shift.engine overreved bent valves and spun bearing.Had all that fixed. Now the type r runs like a 3 legged dog.It doesnt seem to skip, compresion is at 237-240 accross the cylinders.you can barely here the vtec activate and you can not even feel any difference.I've had timing looked at and everyone says its perfect. This car doesnt even sound the same ,it seems very sluggish.when i changed the spun bearing there were metal shavings in the bottom of oil pan could they be clogging something up?i checked the vtec solenoid and the screen on the vtec mount nothing is clogged.Should I rebuild and really clean the engine or transplant another R engine into it or is there something you could recommend checking before getting into something major. It runs smooth it just really seems that timing is off or something.there is no knocking or anything coming from the engine.please any help would be appreciated.if someone knows a good canidate to rebuild my engine in south or north carolina please let me know if that is what i need

if the whole engine was just rebuilt did a reputable shop do the rebuild? did the complete bottom end? used itr pistons? maybe swapped the type r cams with different ones maybe on mistake or not?

no engine was not rebuilt just repaired damage to valves and spun bearing. could it be a plug wire breaking up.i ask because I was shifting from 3rd-to 4th and went to second instead.so that caused a very high rev would that burn out plug wires?btw i did change plugs but not wires

no piston damage at all,and only 6 of the 8 exhaust valves were bent and no intake valve damage.could the valve adjustment be off that bad to slow the car down that much since i did have the eight exhaut valves replaced maybe the valves need to be adjusted,Im baffled . what do lost motion valves do could thatr be that problem or maybe the knock sensor

Perhaps the pistons in the rockers are locked up. Take the head apart and examine everything.
