my VIS fits perfect. With the latch, it was higher up on one side. Barely but enough to bug me.

mine unbolts from the hood. I just took that off. Not the one attatched to the car. I put it back on sometimes. It is only a little higher on the pass side by a few cm's but it bothers me a lot without it it's perfect

I thought all of the new VIS hoods had a detatchable latch

Yeah- i bought a VIS also - it fits damn well.....a tad bit high where it meets the fenders - but nothing hood pins won't fix.

My hood is a JSP and mine fits exactily the same. I think im gonna drill the holes out bigger on the hinges so i can move the hood side to side a bit and get equal fender gap on both sides. Mine also sticks up on the passenger side, but hood pins should solve that.

Mine suffers from the same thing, Im surprised though since I thought a VIS hood would be perfect fit, as mine is some unknown brand that I bought off some dude for 50 bucks

Hood pins will definetly help shape it, and just give it some time to "warp" in. Ive noticed my hood gap is slowly getting better. Im thinking about leaveing some weight on it overnight to see if that will help.

Ill report what happens, hopefully I wont end up just bending it even worse.
